Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: SK14, Hyde
Start Date: ASAP (definitely by Easter)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)
Salary: £102-£111 per day

This full-time, long-term role involves supporting pupils aged 11 to 16 with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Support students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs in a small class setting.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils engage in their learning.
Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
Work alongside teachers and support staff to adapt learning materials to meet pupil needs.
Help students build resilience, confidence, and social skills through structured activities.
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
Experience in a Teaching Assistant role or working with young people in schools, alternative provisions, youth work, or sports coaching.
A patient, proactive, and resilient approach to supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs.
Strong ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
Commitment to a full-time, long-term role in an SEMH school setting.
