Job Description

Teaching Assistant (Inclusion) Yorkshire £90 - £100 Immediate Start Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently looking for an outstanding SEND Classroom Assistant to join a thriving school for children with special educational needs. The role will be working within a special school supporting students who have a range of needs including ASC, SEMH and other additional needs which can create a barrier to learning. The school itself is easily accessible via car and public transport and has a fantastic reputation, making it a place where you will feel supported and nurtured in this exciting next step of your career. You will need to be able to quickly build rapport with young children who are often disengaged with education by being empathetic, enthusiastic and eager to support them. What you will need: · To have worked with learners with a range of needs – it does not matter if this is not strictly school-based experience! · The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods and behaviour management techniques. · To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time. · A passion for working with children with special educational needs so you can enjoy each day and bring them a smile!
