Role details
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tax Compliance Officer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to tax laws and regulations. With your expertise in tax compliance, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation.
Responsibilities of the Tax Compliance Officer
PAYE Compliance: Ensure compliance with Pay As You Earn (PAYE) regulations, including accurate and timely payroll tax filings.
VAT Compliance: Manage Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Tax Regulation Adherence: Play a critical role in the team to ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations and guidelines.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate tax risks through thorough analysis and implementation of best practices.
Analytical Tasks: Conduct detailed tax analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Support the CFO: Provide comprehensive support to the Chief Financial Officer in all tax-related matters.
What the successful candidate will bring
Professional qualification in tax or accounting (CTA, ACCA, ACA) is preferred.
Proven experience in tax compliance.
Strong knowledge of PAYE and VAT regulations.
