On behalf of our client based in Hull, DNA Recruitment Solutions are looking for a dynamic, ambitious individual to join a small team in the dry bulk department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate impeccable customer service and will have experience in the transport/logistics industry, specifically with tankers.

The Role
Processing customer orders
Deliver great customer service over the phone and in person
Tracking and planning UK drivers and equipment ensuring optimal utilisation
Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are fulfilled
Communicate with customers and keep them informed of order status
Oversee turnaround of vehicles and containers to maximise productivity
Recharge any additional costs
Arrange maintenance and cleaning of equipment and book repairs and servicing
Active involvement in P&L and CPA
On boarding of new businessRequirements
Experience in customer service
Experience in transport/logistics, with knowledge of tanker planning
Strong organisational skills, able to multitask and prioritise without compromising standards
Attention to detail, able to deliver accuracy in data entry, documentation and record keeping
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Financial acumen
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiar with Transport Management systems and database software
Knowledge of MS packages (Excel, Outlook etc)
Reliable and resilient
Adaptable - able to change priorities and work schedules to support the team in peak or periods of high demand
Willing to switch between customer service and operational functions
