Job Description

The Position    The Best Connection is seeking to appoint a Systems Training and Development Consultant. The Systems Training and Development Consultant works with our well-established training and development team to score, design, deliver, and continuously improve system-focused training solutions. Your role will be vital to ensure our employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge to navigate and utilise business-critical systems effectively to excel in their roles across our recruitment businesses. Package    Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.    The Benefits    Company car/car allowance upon successful probation     Hybrid working with time split between home working and our People Services Centre in Halesowen    Holidays: 30 days per year rising to 33 days after your first full year including statutory holidays    Up to 2 days paid time off for volunteer work     Free on-site parking     Cycle to work scheme     On Demand 24 Hour Well-being Service  Key tasks and responsibilities include:   Systems-Focused Requirement Gathering and Analysis  Work closely with stakeholders (project leads, SMEs, end-users) to identify specific system training needs  Conduct training needs analyses to pinpoint knowledge and skill gaps related to new or upgraded systems Instructional Design for Systems  Apply established learning frameworks (e.g., ADDIE) to structure system training content logically and coherently  Create course outlines that meet business needs and objectives Content Authoring and Creation  Create systems-based blended learning solutions for large populations of end users   Utilise a range of authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) to create high-quality, system-focused training materials System Training Delivery  Deliver in-person and virtual engaging, system-focused training sessions tailored to a range of technical proficiencies   Adapt delivery methods to suit learners’ needs, including hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and virtual sessions  Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure learners can effectively use the system to meet role requirements Communication and Stakeholder Engagement   Communicate system training plans, updates, and requirements clearly and concisely Project Management and Continuous Improvement  Coordinate training schedules, resources, and system updates to meet project timelines  Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring timely delivery of system training sessions Professional Development and Leadership  Represent and champion training and apprenticeships in meetings and working groups advocating for the highest standards of quality. Essential Key Attributes    Relevant industry qualification at level 3 or above or proven experience within a training and development environment   Proven experience delivering system-focused training  Strong instructional design skills (e.g., ADDIE)  Proficient in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate) and presentation software  Familiarity with UX, accessibility, and best practice in learning design  Strong communication and influencing skillsDesirable Key Attributes Experience in using E-portfolio / LMS systems and experience building e-learning content  Proven experience in managing projects following instructional design methodologies  The Company    The Best Connection, an Equal Opportunities Employer, was formed in 1991.
