We are seeking a Systems Engineer - Mission Planning - SPEAR 3 with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defence industry and expertise in systems engineering, specific experience with Mission Planning, verification, project management, and Documentation. We are looking for a Engineer who promotes a mindset of attention to detail, communication, and teamwork within there team. Key Responsibilities: Provide Mission Planning support to the SPEAR programme, supporting the team with, guidance, advice and mission planning deliverables. Full requirements management (creation, update, validation, verification), including suppliers' integration and DOORS experience, Documentation: Produce detailed technical documentation, supporting the development of engineering requirements and associated documentation. Manage planning and work package management. Reviewing, documentation - Subsystems, customer, work packages.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Essential skills Systems Engineering Mission Planning Requirements Devleopment System design Systems Architecture Systems Integration Ability to provide inputs to project Management MS Office Suite Understanding of complete V Lifecycle. IBM DOORS JIRA IBM (DOORS NG) Proven experience in systems engineering, preferably within the defence or aerospace industry Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose innovative solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment Experience with project management practices and tools, including schedule management, risk analysis, and resource allocation Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, DO-178C, and DO-254, is desirable Eligibility for security clearance (dependent on project requirements)
