Our client is a highly successful boutique firm of consulting engineers, specialising in mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) engineering. As specialists designing all the moving parts of buildings, they play a huge role in making buildings as sustainable and energy efficient as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Executing and delivering sustainability projects.
* Working alongside engineers to establish the Energy and Sustainability requirements.
* Production of Sustainability / Energy Calculations
* Work alongside project architects to agree thermal requirements and glazing strategies.
* Input of the sustainability strategy at each stage of a project
* Collation of Building Control evidence in relation to Sustainability items e.g. Energy strategies and CO2 calculations.
* Guiding more junior team members.
Experience Required
* BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Understanding of the built environment with experience in a similar role
* Experience of following, assessing thermal modelling and dynamic studies, knowledge of IES, SAP, BREEAM, Part L, TM52, TM59.
* Open to ongoing learning and professional development
