Sustainability Consultant – Building Services / MEP
South Oxfordshire
£35k - £60k DOE
Building Services / Consultancy / Mechanical and Electrical / Sustainability / Sustainability Technician / MEP / Sustainability Consultant / Sustainability Engineer
Our client is a highly successful boutique firm of consulting engineers, specialising in mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) engineering. As specialists designing all the moving parts of buildings, they play a huge role in making buildings as sustainable and energy efficient as possible.
They work on some really high profile projects with leading architects, designers and contractors and have an excellent reputation for delivery, quality and reliability of their services.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Executing and delivering sustainability projects.
* Working alongside engineers to establish the Energy and Sustainability requirements.
* Production of Sustainability / Energy Calculations
* Work alongside project architects to agree thermal requirements and glazing strategies.
* Input of the sustainability strategy at each stage of a project
* Collation of Building Control evidence in relation to Sustainability items e.g. Energy strategies and CO2 calculations.
* Guiding more junior team members.
Experience Required
* BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Understanding of the built environment with experience in a similar role
* Experience of following, assessing thermal modelling and dynamic studies, knowledge of IES, SAP, BREEAM, Part L, TM52, TM59.
