Job Description
MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor to join a team within a Housing Association to oversee external wall/fabric planned programmes across Wiltshire and Hampshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to contribute to £1m+ programmes in a dynamic, rewarding environment. This is a permanent role with a salary of £40,482 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of external wall/fabric planned programmes across multiple sites.
Apply your strong understanding of building fabric and components to ensure high-quality work and compliance.
Provide technical expertise in the solution and remedy of building defects.
Write detailed and accurate specifications for works to be undertaken.
Manage contracts effectively, including KPI monitoring, monthly meetings, and processing valuations.
Ensure Health & Safety compliance and oversee safe working practices.Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally with a focus on external wall/fabric programmes.
Strong technical knowledge of building components and construction practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a solution-focused approach.
Experience in specification writing and contract management.
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practicesBefore You Apply
