Job Description

Requirements · Must have the right to live and work in the UK · Must have experience working in adults residential About the role As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in encouraging independence and promoting an active lifestyle for our service users. Key responsibilities include: · Supporting service users with personal care, cooking, and cleaning. · Acting as a key worker and completing required reports/paperwork. · Encouraging engagement in community activities and attending appointments. · Using service users’ vehicles for outings. · Assisting with de-escalation and managing challenging behaviours (training provided). Skills · 6–12 months of UK experience in a care environment, ideally in a learning disability setting. · Understanding of challenging behaviours. · Computer literacy. · Reliable, empathetic, and trustworthy. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Confident and able to positively influence the lives of service users. · Willingness to actively engage in activities in and out of the home.
