As a Supply Special Needs Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering personalised and engaging lessons to students with a variety of learning needs. You will work closely with the support staff and Special Educational Needs Coordinator to provide a structured learning environment that promotes students progress and well-being. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of students who need additional support.

Key Responsibilities as a Supply Special Needs Teacher:
Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual students needs and abilities
Assess and monitor students progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
Work closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to support student learning
Promote the school's ethos of inclusion, respect, and achievement for all students
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong understanding of special educational needs and relevant teaching strategies
A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting students
