Job Description
The Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sub Agent to play a key role in project delivery, ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Assist the Project Manager and Site Agent in delivering the project on time and within budget.
*
Lead site management, ensuring engineering control, risk assessments, and compliance.
*
Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners to meet project milestones.
*
Monitor and control progress, reporting to the Project Manager.
*
Oversee temporary works, materials, and engineering solutions.
*
Ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations, CDM, and legal obligations.
*
Maintain accurate project records, site diaries, and QA documentation.
*
Conduct safety briefings, audits, and promote best practices on-site.
*
Identify and implement value engineering opportunities.
Requirements:
*
Experience as a Sub Agent or Supervisor on highways or infrastructure projects.
*
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, drawings, and specifications.
*
SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant engineering qualifications.
*
Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and site operations.
*
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Office 365, and project reporting tools.
