Full Time - SEN - Reading RG30

We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of a Student Behaviour Mentor in February 2025. We are a specialist education site based in Tilehurst, supporting students aged 5-19 years old. The Student Behaviour Mentor position focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence and motivating students throughout their education.
Supporting pupils facing behaviour management challenges
Helping students to learn and practice healthy coping mechanisms
Tracking progress and implementing education plans
Practice effective communication skills to resolve conflicts and emotional regulation
Motivate students to develop independence and engagement with learning material We are dedicated to nurturing a supportive community for school employees to evolve and develop their skills when supporting children with additional needs. We are a multi-site setting with purpose built facilities, a variety of resources and career progression opportunities. The Behaviour Support Worker role is a great opportunity to gain experience and start opening doors to other career opportunities.
£85 - £95 per day
8:30am-3:30pm, M- F

SEN educationKey qualities of a Student Behaviour Mentor are that you are sure of yourself, have an extroverted nature, value trust and relationships and have patience for those struggling!
Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
