Are you a highly numerical problem-solver with a passion for stock management? Do you have the expertise to build a robust stock control function from the ground up? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Our client is a fast-paced company currently managing over £20 million in stock and are seeking a Stock Controller to take full ownership of all stock processes. You will lead a deep, forensic review of the stock position, investigating shortages, identifying patterns, and getting to the root of recurring issues. Is it specific products, suppliers, or internal processes causing the problems? You’ll be the one to find out.
In this role, you will:
* Conduct a detailed analysis of stock discrepancies and inefficiencies.
* Identify root causes of shortages and develop data-driven solutions.
* Collaborate closely with finance and purchasing teams to implement improvements.
* Drive change across the business, influencing key stakeholders to improve stock management processes.
