Job Title: Stock Control Manager
Location: Warrington
Salary: £40,000
The Client
Our client work within the construction industry and are a leading commercial glazing, cladding and façade manufacturing and installation specialist, they are looking to add a Stock Control Manager to their team.
The Role of Stock Control Manager
Control all stocks held at the head office site
Control all inbound and outbound items/orders (paperwork completion, internal communication)
Be responsible for the stock accuracy for the department including completing procedures and SOP's
Ensure the hygiene standards of the storage areas are maintained to a high standard
Monitor inbound schedules and plan for their arrival
Check and locate all inbound items
Raise any issues with inbound items (shortages, damages, non-conformances etc.) as soon as possible
Ensure that the system, trackers and data uploads are completed accurately in a timely manner
Lead periodic stock checks
Collect and/or deliver company goods as required
Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the Company.
Maintain good communication with your team and the office staff to enable successful co-ordination of inbound and outbound items
The Person
Experience in stock control, deliveries and logistics
Experience of ERP systems (Sage preferably)
Stock check preparation and leading of periodic stock counts and PI checks
Experience with good inwards and goods outwards procedures and paperwork
Experience of managing a small team
H&S experience with a will to develop
Experience of working in a busy environment
Yard Control experience desirable
Clean driving licence & use of car
Microsoft package experience (Word, Excel)
SOP, procedure and process creation and review
M2 Combilift side loader licence desirable but not essential
