Job Description
Randstad C&P are looking for a highly skilled Static Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients team in Birtley. This is a multi-skilled role, requiring someone who can turn their hand to all trades and carry out a variety of maintenance tasks across the site. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical or Mechanical Qualification.
Benefits:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Competitive salary of up to £38,500 per annum

Training and progression opportunities Key Responsibilities:
Conducting regular inspections and servicing to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.
Responding to breakdowns and faults, diagnosing issues, and completing both first-fix and permanent repairs to a high standard.
Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Carrying out minor plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance where required.
Completing repairs and inspections in hard-to-reach areas using the appropriate safety equipment.
Operating independently and as part of a team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and site procedures.Who We're Looking For:
Must have a relevant Electrical or Mechanical Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
A hands-on, multi-skilled professional who can adapt to all types of maintenance work
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
18th edition City and Guilds (Desired)
