School Sports Coach
Gateshead (Full Time)

The School and Role
Vision for Education are seeking experienced Sports Coaches to transfer into a classroom setting to work as SEND Teaching Assistants in North East SEND schools and provisions. The role provides opportunities to work with children aged between EYFS and Post 16 in education settings offering support to the class teacher and pupils in a variety of subjects including Physical Education (P.E). The School Sports Coach role would be due to start immediately with the possibility of ad-hoc/flexible, short and long term contracts.
A variety of settings are available depending on your preferences and experience. Vision for Education work in partnership with schools across Newcastle, Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and surrounding areas.
*This position could be for a person who is keen to become a teacher and wanting more experience within primary and secondary SEND settings. This can work around your personal circumstances, for example alongside your studies, another job or on a full-time basis.
Requirements
The desired School Sports Coach will have;
Experience of working with EYFS, primary, secondary and/or Post-16 school aged children.
Experience of working with SEND pupils.
A passion for the progress of SEND pupils.
Ability to work as part of a team.
