Job Description
Sports Coach - Lancaster:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a sports graduate, PE assistant or sports coach to join one of our schools in Lancaster. You will be required to deliver sports sessions to children with complex needs.
The Role:
Leading sports sessions for small groups
Being a role model for children that are disengaged from their studies
Effectively promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestylesPosition Details:
Location: Lancaster
Position: Sports Coach
Hours: 8am-3pm, Mon-Fri
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
A degree in sports or equivalent experience
Previous experience in coaching
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER
