Job Description

A special needs school in Croydon s seeking an exceptional teacher to join their team immediately. The role is full-time with the view of transferring from agency onto a permanent contract. This position is paid to scale. The school focuses on providing highly specialised provisions for learners with autism, catering to students aged 4-19. The school is dedicated to offering high-quality education that encourages independence and entrepreneurship in students. Their teaching approach is centred around the individual needs of each child. As the SEN Teacher, you will lead and teach a class of 7 pupils, with the support of 3 Teaching Assistants to assist with learning. To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate should have experience working with SEN pupils in a teaching environment. They should also have a strong passion for the progress of SEN school pupils and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is required for this role.
