1:1 SEN Teacher (Tutor) Needed in GU21 – Flexible Hours, Rewarding Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher (Tutor) to provide 1:1 support for a non-verbal student with Autism. The ideal Teacher (Tutor) will have experience working with SEN students and a deep understanding of Autism-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities for the Teacher (Tutor):

Provide tailored 1:1 support as a Teacher (Tutor), helping the student engage in learning and play therapy.

Manage dysregulation proactively, ensuring a calm and structured environment.
*
Adapt sessions to accommodate hyperfocus and sensory sensitivities in busy settings.
*
Use specialist techniques to support communication and routine understanding.
The Tutor must:

Have a strong background in SEN education (minimum 2 years UK teaching experience).
*
Hold QTS or HE/FE certification (required).
*
Be patient, proactive, and able to build trust with a non-verbal student.
