Site Technical Manager (Food Manufacturing)
Are you a Site Technical Manager who is passionate about Food Quality and Food Safety? Want to join a stable and successful senior leadership team?
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: circa £80k plus benefits
The Candidate:
* Ideally degree educated, Food Science/Technology or Microbiology qualification preferred.
* Proven Site Technical Management experience in a food manufacturing environment that supplies the UK’s retailers.
* Experience of driving cultural change and dealing with a high volume factory
* Experienced dealing with BRC and major retailer audits, such as Tesco, Morrison’s etc.
* Can demonstrate a proven track record in improving Food Quality and Food Safety.
The Role:
* As Technical Manager you will report into the Site Manager and be a key member of the Senior Management team.
* You will lead the technical/quality function for the site ensuring the factory quality management and food safety management systems comply with retailer customer requirements.
* Own the HACCP, TACCP and integrity, food defence and fraud management systems.
* You will drive a culture of food quality and food safety, working closely with all other departments.
