Location: Bude
Salary: £60,000 + Car package
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Sphere Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading specialised engineering company, for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of critical infrastructure and data centre projects.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing site delivery, ensuring quality, health & safety compliance, and effective coordination of subcontractors. You will report to the Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring timely project completion to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to company standards.
* Manage risk, reporting upstream and implementing mitigation measures.
* Promote a strong safety culture on-site, conducting inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks.
* Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure work aligns with specifications.
* Supervise deliveries, plant, equipment, and contract lifting plans.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
* Oversee commissioning and ensure smooth project handover.
Experience & Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in site management within construction.
* Experience managing large infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of civils, steelwork, cladding & FFE packages.
* Understanding of mechanical and electrical services.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Project.
Qualifications:
* SMSTS & CSCS Card (Essential)
* H&S Qualification (Desirable)
Package:
* Salary circa £60,000 & Car package
