Freelance Facade Manager – Student Accommodation Project (Nottingham, Outside IR35)
📍 Location: Nottingham

🕒 Duration: 5 months
We are looking for an experienced Facade Manager to oversee the external envelope on a large-scale student accommodation project in Nottingham. This freelance role is outside IR35, offering an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the installation of facade, cladding, curtain walling, SFS, and external finishes.
* Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
* Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and design specifications.
* Conduct regular inspections, quality checks, and snagging.
* Collaborate with site teams, designers, and external consultants to resolve technical challenges.
* Enforce strict health & safety protocols on-site.
* Report progress and potential issues to senior management
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Facade Manager on large residential or student accommodation projects.
* Strong knowledge of cladding, curtain walling, rainscreen systems, and fire safety regulations.
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and drive project delivery.
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications are essential.
* Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
