Site/ Maintenance Manager

Location: Cowes
Hours: 39 hours per week plus overtime when required
Days: Monday - Friday, weekend working may be required during peak season/
Duration: Permanent
Duties:
Ensure safe and compliant day to day site operations including overseeing plant operation and managing a small team of staff.
Allocation of work, monitoring performance and adherence to quality and health and safety standards,
Review of processes to ensure efficiencies and best practice,
Stock and inventory and storage management,
Oversee raw materials processing and manufacturing of products,
Planned servicing and responsive repairs of machinery, working to schedules and budgets,
Complete regular health and safety audits, maintain risk assessments and ensure accurate record keeping,
Complete frequent quality checks and update and maintain all necessary records pertaining to materials and products.
Experience:
Must have previous supervisory experience within an engineering or agricultural or food manufacturing environment and a sound understanding of health and safety.
Further education in Engineering or Agriculture plus IOSH qualifications are an advantage.
Must have good technical aptitude and mechanical capabilities,
Must have good attention to detail and level of accuracy,
Must have a good level of computer literacy and be flexible with working hours.
Must have a full driver’s licence, an HGV (Cat C) Licence is preferred or be willing to train to obtain one.
Salary: £30 - 40,000 per annum DOE.
