Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Erection Supervisor for a 5 month contract starting as soon as possible to oversee the installation of a large-scale industrial plant in the UK. The successful candidate will manage on-site activities, including equipment positioning, on site welding (stainless steel mainly), mechanical and electrical assembly, ensuring compliance with project specifications, time lines, and quality standards. The main responsibilities of this role are: Oversee the precise positioning and alignment of equipment and components as per engineering drawings. Ensure all stainless-steel welding operations in the field adhere to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Supervise mechanical assembly tasks, including equipment integration and bolting, ensuring functionality and structural integrity. Manage electrical assembly processes, such as cable routing, connection, and control system installation, in coordination with the electrical team.To be successful in this role you will have the following experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in site supervision for large industrial projects. Proven expertise in carbon steel and stainless-steel welding, mechanical assembly, and electrical installation. Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, welding techniques, and industrial assembly practices. Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with UK HSE regulations and standards. Welding Inspector certification (e.g., CSWIP, AWS). NEBOSH or similar safety certification. Electrical installation qualifications Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
