Job Description

Job Title: Shuttering Carpenter Location: Cambridge, UK Job Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Constructing formwork for concrete structures based on project specifications. Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans. Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials such as timber, plywood, and steel. Installing and securing formwork on construction sites. Inspecting formwork for stability and safety before concrete pouring. Assisting in the concrete pouring process when necessary. Dismantling formwork once concrete has set and cured. Collaborating with other construction professionals, including engineers and concrete workers. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.Requirements: Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter. Valid CSCS card. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour. Good communication and teamwork skills.
