Job Description

Shift Digital Printer | Essex | Full Time | £26,500 plus based on experience Our client is looking to recruit an industry professional with digital printing skills, or someone with a litho print background who wants to develop skills in both toner and inkjet printing technologies. However, they are also happy to consider candidates with basic digital print knowledge, which can be developed. We use Konica Minolta, Océ, Canon, and Kyocera technologies, and experience with Hunkeler equipment would be an advantage. The successful candidate will work alongside our strong print and bookbinding team. The working hours will be: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm (days initially and while training) Monday to Thursday 6 am to 2 pm, Friday 6 am to 12:00 pm (early shift) Monday to Thursday 2 pm to 10 pm, Friday 11:30 am to 5:30 pm (late shift) This role will be based on a double-day shift rota as outlined above. Digital printing experience or litho printing knowledge Good IT skills Excellent communication skills Good attention to detail Work to a high level of accuracy Able to work under pressure A good sense of humour What will your role look like? Carry out tasks and operate required machines and processes to ensure the smooth running of the printing area, as directed by the Manager, to meet production targets, customer needs, efficiency, and quality requirements in line with Standard Operating Procedures. Comply with health and safety regulations within the team and the environment, ensuring safe practices when using equipment and maintaining good housekeeping to provide a safe working environment for all employees.
