Job Description

SHEQ and Pre-Tender Administrator £35,000 to £40,000 Romford My client is a growing building services consultancy who offer Mechanical, Electrical, Lift, Information Technology and Public Health Engineering. Due to company growth, they are looking to appoint a SHEQ and Pre-Tender Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. They role can offer flexible hours, hybrid working and is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a challenge and a varied roll. Duties: Health and Safety: * * Annual review of H&S manual, policies and documents to reflect changes in legislation and regulation * Input to Constructionline including annual input to audits * Maintenance of information, documents and evidence to maintain Constructionline Gold * Maintenance of information, documents and evidence to maintain RISQS accreditation * Maintain auditable safety training records and manage new starter courses and existing staff renewals (including 1st aid, asbestos, mental health, CSCS, Sentinel). * Manage and maintain first aid training * Input to staff welfare policies and documents, including drugs and alcohol testing * Induction documents and PPE issue to staff * Monitor working hours and report on staff exceeding normal agreed hours * Maintain RAMS templates for non-intrusive and intrusive work * Assist in work related to the ISO9001 QMS system * Spearhead the company documentation to obtain ISO14001 Environmental Monitoring Systems Pre-Tender: * * Knowledge of Procurement Act Requirements for SME’s * Experience in developing Social Value responses * Review tender portals for suitable opportunities * Establish and maintain contact and supplier databases, including annual insurance updates. * Complete the onboarding process for BA in terms of BA working with clients and for BA’s relationship with suppliers * Update insurance and other annual data for clients and procurement portals. * Develop, collate and update responses to tender quality questions * Assist directors in completion of tender returns * Seek, review and report on quotations and tender submissions and outcomes * Identify and implement efficiencies in production of tender returns * Provide standardized documentation that consistently promotes the Beveridge brand * Investigate use of AI for marketing submissions
