Job Description
Sheet Metal Worker
We are recruiting for temp to perm Sheet Metal Workers / Fabricators to join our client. You will be working with an ever growing company who have experienced positive growth in last few years. This role offers you a stable ongoing role with the opportunity to go permanent with the client and forge a long term career with the company.
Shift Patterns and Working Hours:
+ Monday to Friday
+ Working week is 38 hours with overtime paid after this and x1.5 or x2 STD rate
+ Days and Afternoon shifts available
The successful Sheet Metal Worker will:
+ Have previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator
+ Have good welding and fabricating skills
+ Want to grow with the company and develop their skills
+ Able to work the shifts needed
Your duties as a Sheet Metal Worker will include:
+ Cutting shapes, joining shapes to create structures
+ Welding structures
+ Follow engineering drawings to ensure end product is correct.
+ You will work on both industrial and power products
You will receive:
+ A STD hourly rate between £16.50 to £18.00 per hour
+ OT x1.5 for weekday and Saturday working
+ OT x2 for Sunday working
