Service Technician - Agricultural Machinery Location: Colchester Salary: Competitive, plus excellent benefits Prime Appointments is working with a leading agricultural dealer seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their team in Colchester. Role Overview: Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for: Diagnosing and repairing software, electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other mechanical faults Servicing and maintaining JCB and other agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards, ensuring safety and reliability Providing detailed reports on completed work, including photographs and accurate time records Using diagnostic software via laptop (training provided) Identifying potential issues and recommending additional services where appropriate What We're Looking For: Experience in agriculture, commercial, or construction engineering, particularly in vehicle maintenance Strong fault-finding and repair skills across various mechanical and electrical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's in It for You?
