Service Engineer - Commercial Boilers Permanent Full-Time
Salary - Circa €55,000 DOE
Location - Dublin, Ireland
Join a well-established, family-run business in Dublin that has been a leader in the boiler engineering industry for over 60 years. Specialising in the manufacture, sale, hire, and refurbishment of commercial steam boilers.
Due to growing demand for their services, they are now seeking an experienced Service Engineer who is RGI certified, due to the upcoming regulation changes in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a company known for its efficient, economical, and reliable services
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
Perform fault finding and diagnostics on electrical panels and work with single and three-phase electrical systems
Service and repair burners from major manufacturers including Nu-way, Riello, and Hamworthy, handling fuels such as diesel, oil, natural gas, and LPG
Install, commission, and decommission boiler systems, ensuring they meet all operational and safety standards
Conduct initial testing, calibration, and regular blow down testing to maintain water quality and boiler efficiency
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on boiler systems, diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical faults
Respond promptly to emergency callouts to minimise downtime and restore boiler functionality
Recommend and implement system upgrades to improve efficiency and performance
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and testing performed, providing comprehensive reports to clients
Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with industry standardsExperiences required
Must hold an RGI Certification with a minimum of 4 professional years within the industry
Proven experience with fault finding on electrical panels
Hands-on experience with single and three-phase electrical systems
Familiarity with burners from Nu-way, Riello, Hamworthy, and other major manufacturers
Experience working with various fuels including diesel, oil, natural gas, and LPG burners
Basic knowledge of boiler design, operation, and control systems
Ability to work across Ireland & UK responding to emergency callouts
Full EU clean driver's licence is mandatoryPackage
