Job Description
Service Delivery Team Leader – Engineering & Facilities
We are seeking a highly organised Service Delivery Team Leader with experience in engineering, facilities management or hire desk operations. In this role, you will lead and support a service-focused team, ensuring smooth operational workflows, job scheduling and subcontractor coordination. You will play a key role in maintaining service contracts, optimising job costing and driving operational improvements while keeping the client at the heart of everything you do.
This is a great role for candidates who already have good exposure in leading a team within a similar environment or for experienced Service Co-ordinators, Hire Desk Controllers, Service Delivery Schedulers looking for the next step in their career!

Key Responsibilities:
Lead a service delivery team in a fast-paced engineering, service and maintenance environment.
Oversee job scheduling, subcontractor coordination and service contract renewals.
Manage operational workflows using business systems (SAP, JobWatch).
Handle job costing, invoicing, and financial reporting to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Ensure strong communication between engineering teams and service operations.
Drive completion of work in progress (WIP) and aged debt resolution.
Monitor stock levels and parts ordering to support job scheduling.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and company policies.
Identify process improvements and drive efficiency within the service team.
Requirements:
Essential:
Experience in service delivery within engineering, maintenance, facilities or hire desk operations.
GCSEs in Maths & English (A-C) or equivalent.
Strong IT skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership and organisational skills in a technical or operational setting.
Ability to manage multiple workflows, problem-solve, and work under pressure.
Proactive and customer-focused, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
