Are you a skilled Service Charge Accountant (SCA) seeking your next career opportunity? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team in Manchester. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing service charge accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review service charge budgets and reconciliations.
Monitor expenditure and ensure accurate allocation of costs.
Collaborate with property managers and stakeholders to resolve queries.
Maintain financial records and prepare monthly and annual reports.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Service Charge Accountant or similar role.
Strong understanding of service charge accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (preferred).
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
