Job Description
Senior RF Electronics Engineer – Cambridge - £70,000 - £90,000 pa
Due to a rapidly increasing workload, an Electronics Manufacturer area is looking for an RF Electronics Engineer to join their team developing communication solutions used in a variety of sectors including defence & security, marine and emergency services.
Responsibilities:
Design new high frequency RF products
Product improvement
Work in a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, software & hardware engineers
Produce & maintain, design & test documentation.
Carry out design reviewsKey Skills/Experience
Degree (or higher) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
RF & Analogue design (VHF/UHF)
RF Design (100 MHz – 1GHz)
Great understanding and experience with RF Circuits and components (LNA/RF Amplifiers, oscillator/PLL’s, power amplifiers etc.)
RF Test & measurement
Analogue circuit design
PCB design & layoutAny mix of the following is also nice to have:
Discrete RF Design
Programming languages (LabVIEW, Python, C/C++)
