Senior Planning Officer
4 days per week, 1 day on site
£45 an hour umbrella
Immediate Start
Temporary 3 months (likely to be extended)

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior Planning Officer for a public sector organisation on a temporary interim basis. The purpose of the role is to support the team's day-to-day operational management and deliver an efficient and continually improving development management service.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Planning Officer Role:
Managing junior planning officers and providing professional guidance.
Assessing and processing planning applications.
Ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national planning policies.
Negotiating with developers, architects, and stakeholders to improve development proposals.
Developing and reviewing local planning policies and frameworks.
Enforcing planning regulations and handling enforcement cases.The successful Senior Planning Officer will have:
