Adele Carr Recruitment is currently partnering with a long-established and respected law firm in Liverpool City Centre to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Cashier. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal accounts professional to take on a senior role with real responsibility and influence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial transactions in line with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SARS)
Support and guide the accounts team to ensure efficient operations
Act as Deputy COFA, reporting to the firm's Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA)
Perform regular bank reconciliations
Prepare VAT returns
Assist with month-end and year-end processes
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters
Communicate effectively across departments and teams
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm (essential)
Strong knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SARS)
ILFM qualification (desirable)
Proficiency in legal accounting systems and Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
Professional, discreet, and confident communicating at all levels
