Senior Java Developer - Full Stack, Java, JSP, RESTful APIs, JavaScript
Flexible Remote / Hybrid working. West Sussex 1 day a week/month depending on your location.
Up to £75,000 plus benefits

The Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications. While working across the full stack, your primary focus will be on back-end development (Java), ensuring scalable and efficient server-side solutions. You'll collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Back-End Development - Build and optimize server-side applications and APIs using Java.
Full Stack Development - Integrate front-end components using React when needed.
Architecture & Design - Contribute to scalable system design and best coding practices.
Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and optimize deployments.
Performance & Quality - Ensure applications run efficiently, securely, and reliably.
What We're Looking For
✔ 5+ years' experience developing web applications in Java (SE/EE).
✔ Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
✔ Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
✔ Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
✔ Agile development experience using tools like Jira and Confluence.
