Job Description
Our client, a leading civil engineering construction company, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in civils to contribute to major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out setting out and surveying of civil engineering projects, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the wider site team, including junior engineers and technicians.
* Liaise with the design team and contractors to ensure projects are delivered in line with requirements.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Oversee quality control processes to maintain high project standards.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in the civils sector as a Site Engineer.
* Strong technical knowledge of setting out and surveying.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the site team, design team, and contractors.
* Proven experience in delivering successful civils projects.
* SSSTS or SMSTS accreditation required.
* Experience in temporary works is an advantage.
* Candidates must have a valid DBS or be willing to complete one.
