Job Description

Working for a fantastic employer who are going from strength to strength and pride themselves on their culture, we are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Employment Law Lawyer/Solicitor (Litigation) who enjoys supporting a variety of clients with their Employment Law and HR issues whilst providing an excellent service to their clients. Location: Chester, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home Salary: Up to £55,000 plus excellent benefits Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday Main purpose of role * To provide high quality, pragmatic and efficient litigation advice to SME, LME & Mid-Market clients. * To provide brilliant service in relation to your own portfolio of Employment Tribunal cases, including those for LME & Mid-Market clients, complex cases and multi-party proceedings. * To supervise and mentor trainees/paralegals and more junior advisers as necessary. Main Duties: * To provide high quality advice and legally compliant documentation, especially in relation to * Employment Tribunal cases, to clients to ensure we provide the best fixed fee legal & ER advisory service in the UK. * To comply with Employment Tribunal deadlines and external insurance procedures as required. * To make sure all advice to clients is timely, efficient, accurate, practical and commercial. * To assist, mentor, supervise and train junior colleagues as required. * To support several of clients largest and most important clients with their Employment Tribunal cases * To liaise with employee representatives, ACAS and/or litigants in person in respect of ongoing Tribunal proceedings * To adhere to requirements and relevant professional standards in dealings with clients. * To help clients to achieve their commercial objectives, whilst complying with the law. Account Management: * Proactively manage a portfolio of Employment Tribunal cases by maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders, managing expectations for delivery. * Support the commercial team with proposals and prospective clients’ meetings. * Contribute to the efficiencies of the team through identifying and sharing process improvements, shared resources and continuous improvement input * To participate, where required, in business development opportunities. * To provide insight and analysis on client usage to the commercial team in order to assist their renewal conversations with clients. * To maintain a detailed working knowledge of operating procedures and to ensure that those procedures are followed. * To comply with Employment Tribunal deadlines and external insurance processes. * To use best endeavours to ensure the departments KPIs are consistently achieved. · Requirements Qualifications Either a qualified legal professional (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) or relevant equivalent HR/ER qualification or experience. Experience: Eligibility for this role will typically be a minimum of 3 to 4 years PQE as an employment law solicitor/adviser and is dependent on performance. Candidates with equivalent experience delivering EL & ER advice in other legal or HR settings may also be considered. Competencies: * Excellent technical and up to date knowledge of employment law * Proven in depth knowledge of some areas. * Efficient working in line with our fixed fee model * Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of service * Strong commercial awareness and high standards of client care * Evidence of a high level of achievement of business objectives and client satisfaction **Roberts Webb Recruitment are acting as a recruitment agency on behalf of this company and role
