Job Description

JOB ROLE: Interim Senior Development Manager LOCATION: Southwest England (Hybrid Working) CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 - 12 months (likely extension) DAY RATE: Inside IR35 / Via an umbrella company DAYS IN OFFICE REQUIRED: Hybrid - site visits and office attendance required 1-2 times per week or as and when needed. Panoramic Associates is currently working with a client based in the Southwest of England to facilitate the appointment of an Interim Senior Development Manager on an interim basis for 6 months to oversee the delivery of projects within the social housing sector. This role will focus primarily on delivering housing development projects at RIBA Stages 4-7, however involvement in earlier stages (0-3) may arise as required. Responsibilities of the Role: Manage social housing development projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion (Stage 7). Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to meet project objectives. Monitor site progress, addressing challenges and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Support earlier RIBA stages (if required) with feasibility and design input. Manage budgets, risks, and timelines to deliver successful outcomes.To be successful in the role you will have: Proven experience as a Development Manager, focusing on RIBA Stages 4-7. Previous experience working within a Local Authority or Housing Association setting focusing on social housing/residential project. Strong knowledge of housing regulations, planning processes, and building standards. Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.Next Steps This assignment is a 6-month contract with likely extension and offering a competitive day rate Inside IR35 depending on experience. There will be a mixture of remote working and onsite requirements
