Our Client, a growing business in the financial services sector is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take ownership of their data analytics capabilities, delivering insights that drive strategic decisions and operational excellence.
About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping their data-driven strategy. You’ll work autonomously, analysing complex datasets, developing advanced data models, and creating actionable insights that influence business decisions. Using tools like Power BI, SQL, and Python/R, you'll deliver reports and analytics that go beyond numbers—helping to shape workflows and unlock business potential.
What You’ll Do
Own and develop data analytics capabilities, from tooling selection to defining processes and reporting.
Work closely with senior leadership and management teams to deliver insights and business-critical reports.
Identify trends and opportunities through advanced data analysis and statistical methods.
Maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI) and provide key business stakeholders with real-time insights.
Support teams across the business, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Present your findings to non-technical audiences, translating complex insights into clear recommendations.
Stay ahead of trends in reporting technology and analytics, continuously enhancing our approach.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
Strong technical skills in SQL, Python/R, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
A curious, analytical mindset, always looking for ways to improve.
Strong communication skills—able to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A team player who enjoys collaborating across departments.
Experience in product analytics, A/B testing, or business impact measurement is a plus.
