Are you an experienced Credit Control Manager looking for your next challenge? Then this could be the opportunity for you! As a result of a recent acquisition, we are looking for a Credit Control Manager to manage a small team, regular ledger reviews, reviews of debt collected, and ensure allocations on account are completed.
This will be the ideal opportunity for someone that enjoys a challenge as the business is implementing new processes as well as a clean up of inherited unreconciled accounts.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a small team
* To support in the portal transition move to UK billing and provide valued input
* Project work and ad-hoc requests
* Journal approval
* Regular reviews/catch ups with team members to discuss ledger and provide support/guidance on resolving queries
* Cover and support other senior team members as required
* Debt Collection – Proactively chasing payment of AR balance for allocated customer portfolio
* Log chasing comments in the accounting system on all communication with customer.
* Disputes Management - Raise queries/disputes to sales/client services contacts and monitor and chase closure accordingly.
* Liaising with Operation/Sales Managers on all matters in relation to Credit & Collections.
* Ensure the issue of copy invoices and appropriate invoice backup
* Account Reconciliations request both internal and external.
Experience required:
* Previous management experience
* A solid credit control employment history
* Advanced excel skills to enable data to be analysed
* Reconciliation skills
* Bad debt analysis and review
This role will be hybrid - 2 days per week on-site currently. There will also be a requirement to travel to UK sites on an ad-hoc basis if and when required.
