Job Description
Job Role: Senior Composite Technician
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 per annum
The role:
Responsible for leading the carbon infusion facility and managing a team of composite technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the composite team to meet production deadlines.
Hands-on laminating and resin infusion of production components.
Lead and mentor laminators and trimmers, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
Train and guide new team members to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Support the Head of Operations and Head of Development in optimising manufacturing processes and equipment usage.
The Candidate:
5-7 years of experience as a composite technician in motor sport, automotive, or aerospace industries.
Strong expertise in infusion techniques.
Proven ability to work with technical drawings and layup books
Experience with various materials and composite manufacturing processes, including: hand lay-up, trimming, bonding and assembly, pattern and mould-making
Demonstrated team leadership skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
