Senior Civil Pipeline Engineer
Contract: 6–12 months
Location: Peterborough/Hybrid
IR35: Inside
Our client has a requirement for a Senior Civil Pipeline Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Peterborough/Hybrid
Role Purpose:
To lead and manage the design and delivery of pipeline engineering projects within critical UK infrastructure sectors, including Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development.
Job Role Responsibilities:
Manage a team to undertake technical design work, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and codes.
Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals.
Effectively manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and deadlines.
Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
Maintain high quality assurance standards in all design outputs.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
Chartered Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years' post-chartership experience.
Strong background in pipeline design delivery, including multi-disciplinary coordination.
Expertise in hydraulics, pipe restraint, jointing, pipeline materials, bedding, and UTX.
Proficiency in digital analysis tools such as HADES, InfoWorks, and EPANET.
Understanding of market rates and experience-based charge structures.
Ability to obtain security vetting.
