Senior Buyer- Manufacturing £55,000 to £60,000 plus benefits-West Midlands We are partnering with a Manufacturing client In the West Midlands who are looking for a Senior Buyer to lead and co-ordinate Procurement Strategies within direct spend. The role is important in the development and implementation of new and existing commodities and designs Spend Managing spend within mechanical and some electro-mechanical materials The role has come about due to the team expanding their operations and looking to drive down the BOM cost. The role will also be highly strategic looking at Category Plans to develop savings and development (NPI) The candidate will also look forward with risk mitigation with incumbent and future supplies Key Skills Direct Procurement in manufacturing Evaluate potential suppliers and technological innovations. Collaborate with R&D, engineering and Product development Project Management Risk mitigation Good Attitude Be happy to work towards developmentWhat's on offer?
