Vacancy Summary Job Title: Senior Bid Writer Job Type: Permanent Job Ref: #1151 Location: Suffolk Start Date: ASAP Salary: c£50k-£55k basic plus competitive package Company & Project: A national main contractor operating in the Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure & Retail sectors, are seeking to recruit an experienced and effective Senior Bid Writer to complement their Pre Construction team, based in East Anglia. Our client has a strong order book already secured for 2025 but they are continuing to targeting new business and further resource in their pre-construction team to do so. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for Bid Writing and supporting the work winning team, handling tenders generated from a range of single stage tenders and frameworks, projects typically worth £5m-£20m in single value. Previous experience in working in pre-construction teams is essential along with a clear track record of producing Bids. Desirable Experience: 5 years+ experience as Bid Writer. Experience working on bids for construction companies would be advantageous. Good knowledge of construction management process and techniques. Previous roles: Bid Writer OR Assistant Bid Manager OR Senior Bid Writer OR Bid Coordinator OR Senior Bid Coordinator. Qualifications & Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project packages.
