The Opportunity: Senior Accountant / Client Manager This isn’t your typical accounting role – it’s an opportunity to truly make a difference. As a Senior Accountant / Client Manager, you’ll work closely with a portfolio of SME clients, acting as their finance partner and trusted advisor. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build lasting, meaningful relationships by understanding clients’ goals and aligning services to their needs. Strategic Financial Support: Provide clients with essential financial insights and forward-thinking advice to guide their business decisions. Collaboration with Partners: Partner closely with senior leadership on client meetings, strategic planning, and ensuring successful outcomes. About You: You’ll be a proactive, client-focused professional with a passion for helping businesses succeed. To thrive in this role, you will need: Professional Experience: At least 4+ years of experience in an accountancy practice, with a strong track record of managing client relationships. Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, AAT, or CIMA). Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Dext) and Microsoft Excel. Communication Skills: The ability to present complex financial data in a clear, actionable way to clients and colleagues alike. Client-First Mindset: A commitment to client success, with the ability to see the bigger picture and offer strategic advice.
