Job Description

Year 9 SEND Form Tutor (full-time) Hillingdon, West London £180- £195 per day  (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) Start date: ASAP/January 2025 Are you a dedicated and versatile educator passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? We are looking for an experienced Year 9 Form Tutor/Teacher to join a thriving SEN school in Hillingdon, providing high-quality education and care for students with diverse needs. The Role: As a Year 9 Form Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while supporting the personal and social development of your students. The subjects you will teach include: Mathematics English World of Work (WoW) PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health, and Citizenship Education) Physical Education (PE) Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN students. Monitoring and assessing progress to ensure each student reaches their full potential. Fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to provide holistic care and education. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with moderate to complex learning needs. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a commitment to making a positive impact on students’ lives. Why Join Us?
