SEND Teaching Assistants required for full-time work near Harrow
SENCare are working closely with an inclusive special educational needs School near Harrow who cater for students with autism(ASC) and, social emotional mental health needs(SEMH). The independent provision is a post 16 specialist provision that offers a 2-year course to students. The course helps to develop independence and life skills that prepare the students for the next stage in life.
Successful candidates will be responsible for providing classroom support in literacy, numeracy and, life-long skills(small classes of 7) to teaching staff and for suitable candidates, permanent contracts can be offered(temp – perm). The SEND Teaching Assistant position starts ASAP, will be Monday – Friday, from 08:30 – 16:00 and training is available!
Prospective candidates are required to have:
* A DBS issued within the last 3 years or, be willing to apply for a new enhanced disclosure.
* Suitble right to work(RTW) documentation for full-time/ permanent employment. Sponsorship cannot be offered.
* Previous experience supporting secondary or post16 students.
* Previous experience supporting SEN(autism, challenging behaviour or complex needs) pupils.
