Job Description
Clockwork Education are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant for a lovely school in Sunderland. This role is to work with groups of children with a wide range of SEND's and also support as a general TA within the classroom. The school are looking for someone to start ASAP and the role is ongoing until Summer at least and may become permanent for the right candidate.
SEND Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
* Working with groups of children with a wide range of SEND's such as ASD and ADHD
* Supporting the children through all lessons and encouraging them to stay on task
* Ability to use own initiative and to change lesson plan when needed
SEND Teaching Assistant Requirements
* Level 2 qualification as a teaching assistant
* The ability to provide 2 x educational based references (preferably)
* Enhanced DBS disclosure
* A keen interest in working with and supporting children with SEND
