About the Role Axcis is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join one of our secondary schools in Bournemouth. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where students can thrive despite their challenges. Key Responsibilities Personalized Support: Provide one-on-one guidance to help students overcome emotional and behavioural obstacles, unlocking their full potential. Classroom Assistance: Work alongside teachers to foster a positive learning environment, supporting classroom management and student engagement. Behavioural Strategies: Implement effective behaviour management techniques to diffuse challenging situations and help students develop self-regulation skills. What We’re Looking For While prior experience working with children or vulnerable adults is essential, this does not need to be within a school setting. A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference are key to success in this role.
